The Strategist will join The Strategy Group’s collaborative team, playing a key role in human‑centred design and diverse project delivery for high‑profile clients. This position requires a strategic approach to customer experience, employee experience, innovation, and the practical application of generative AI. Working across multiple industries, the Strategist will contribute to impactful project engagements that drive meaningful outcomes for clients and support the organisation’s continued growth. What You’d Be Doing In This Role: Support project engagements end‑to‑end, ensuring high‑quality deliverables aligned with client expectations. Apply human‑centred design principles across various industries, including financial services, insurance, aged care, government, medical technologies, and not‑for‑profits. Facilitate and support sessions and workshops with senior stakeholders to align project goals and outcomes. Conduct both qualitative (e.g., interviews) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, data analysis) research to inform strategic recommendations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to influence internal communications and project coordination. What You’ll Bring to the Table: 1‑2 years of relevant experience in human‑centred design, customer and employee experience, and innovation. Ability to support complex engagements in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and communication skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint for producing high‑quality presentations. Experience in customer and market research methods. Experience designing and assisting workshops with senior stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem‑solving and an eye for visual design. Experience in consulting environments is highly valued but not required. Work Arrangements: Hybrid working model: three days in‑office currently, Mon, Wed and Thurs (Bondi Junction) and two days remote. Flexible hours based on project needs and team collaboration. Must be based in Sydney and have full working rights in Australia.
