Strategy Manager – Consumer Services and Retail Oaktree Talent Group & Future State Consulting is seeking a strategic thinker passionate about driving impactful change in the consumer sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high‑impact projects that contribute to the growth and success of the business across multiple tangible business unit strategy topics. Base Pay Range: A$150,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior level Employment Type: Full‑time Key Responsibilities Structure and solve complex business problems, developing strategic plans that deliver tangible results. Lead and manage projects or key work streams, ensuring successful execution and delivery. Provide strategic advice and innovative solutions to address business challenges. Extract insights from detailed analyses to inform decision‑making and strategy development. Influence and engage with key stakeholders, driving alignment and commitment to strategic initiatives. Coach and develop junior team members, helping them grow and succeed in their roles. Qualifications Ideally 4+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in a top‑tier strategy consultancy such as McKinsey, Bain or BCG. Post‑MBA top‑tier toolkit candidates are also a great fit. Proven track record of strategic problem‑solving, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
