Role Overview Mercor is working with a leading AI research lab on initiatives in multimodal machine learning , which allows AI to interpret images and sound together. We are seeking detail-oriented freelancers to review short video and audio clips and compare AI outputs. This is a short-term, remote role offering flexible hours. Your reviews will support improved accuracy and reliability in production AI systems. Eligibility You may apply if you are based in the United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom , Canada , or Australia . Responsibilities Examine audio, image, and video content for quality and relevance. Select the best AI result according to project criteria. Add straightforward annotations to support training datasets. Follow standardized procedures to ensure consistent outcomes. Qualifications Fluent in English (native or near-native). High accuracy and attention to detail, with clear written communication. Dependable execution of instructions and quality checks. Ability to work independently and maintain focus on repetitive tasks. Engagement & Schedule Work is fully remote and scheduled asynchronously. The engagement is contractual and limited in duration. Hours depend on task availability and may vary. Compensation & Contract You will be paid $16 per hour for time spent on tasks. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe Connect. This is an independent contractor role.
