AH3 Clinician Employment type: Fixed term, full-time, until 27 January 2027.Location: Based in Greensborough, working across schools in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. About the Role An appropriately qualified allied health professional will provide high-level professional advice to schools and influence student learning outcomes and wellbeing policies. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and support across the North East Melbourne area. Accountabilities Provide high level clinical support services to school‑age students to improve learning outcomes. Undertake advanced wellbeing interventions that support students and schools. Assist in coordinating student support services within a multi‑disciplinary team. Contribute to student wellbeing policy development. Provide leadership, both professionally and operationally, within a multi‑disciplinary student support team. Support teachers in developing educational programs for students with additional needs. Provide authoritative professional advice on student wellbeing issues. Collaborate with and advise other student support services team members on complex cases. Contribute to the professional development of other allied health team members. Liaise with community service organisations, DHHS, hospitals, specialist programmes and other professionals regarding student support needs. Key Selection Criteria Experience initiating, developing and implementing programs, procedures and policies that foster resilience and address the physical, social and emotional needs of children and young people. Capacity to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering wellbeing support services to school students. Advanced skills in assessing, conceptualising and analysing complex student wellbeing issues and translating these into improved support services. Highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in education and beyond. Demonstrated commitment to Victorian Public Sector Values. Desirable Qualifications and Experience Graduate or post‑graduate qualification in the relevant discipline, eligibility for membership of the relevant professional organisation (e.g. AASW, SPA) or registration with AHPRA, and possession of a current Australian Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check.
