Overview Support Worker Co is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to NDIS providers across Australia. We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to support adult NDIS participants in SILs located in Little Mountain, Banya, Currimundi, Golden Beach & Maroochydore. Female Support Workers are preferred for this role due to female clients' requests with personal hygiene needs. Responsibilities This is a casual role that offers a combination of emergency/on-call and pre-planned shifts. 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts – morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm) and sleep over shifts. Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance & meals. Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities. Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements. Use a company vehicle and/or your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings. What you need Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant) 12 months paid experience supporting people in SILs with physical & intellectual disabilities. Australian Driver's License First Aid Certificate CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment NDIS Worker Orientation Module Reliable smart phone with data What we can offer you Competitive pay rates, terms and conditions.
