Job Description About the role We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Sales Support Officer to join our Asset Finance – Secured Business Loans team. In this role, you’ll be a key contact for managing new and existing business lending enquiries, guiding brokers and clients through the full process – from initial assessment to approval and settlement. Your focus will be on supporting the sales team, reviewing loan scenarios, and helping convert enquiries into successful secured business loans, all while ensuring quick turnaround and high-quality service. This role offers excellent opportunities for growth, providing exposure to multiple areas of the business. As you build confidence, you’ll have the chance to engage directly with brokers and further develop your sales skills. What you will doing: Be the primary contact for brokers and clients regarding new and existing business lending enquiries. Support the sales team, particularly the broker channel, by reviewing scenarios, ensuring approvals, assisting with loan settlements and renewals. Assist the sales and credit team with due diligence on business borrowers and the properties supporting the loans, feeding insights back into the process with brokers. Assist the team with requesting information from brokers and ensuring all submitted documentation and data are complete and accurate. Follow up on loan evaluations and manage workflow for secured business loans. Maintain accurate records in the CRM or loan management system, ensuring all interactions and updates are logged. Assist in promoting and scaling secured business loan products to brokers and clients. If the following sounds like you, you’ll be a great fit: Prior experience in a customer support or similar role in financial services (experience in property and/or private lending will be highly regarded) Proactive with a strong can‑do attitude. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Able to think on your feet and respond promptly to scenarios or client requests. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to build rapport and develop relationships with brokers and clients. Ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity and commercially astute. High level of numeracy, with the ability to work confidently with financial or data-related information. What's in it for you?
