This role is highly tailorable to individual goals and areas of expertise This committed service warmly welcomes a Speech Pathologist to join their growing, collaborative and passionate team of therapists. In your role, you will aim to see your clients set and achieve Speech Therapy goals in line with their unique circumstances. This role is highly tailorable to individual goals and areas of expertise. Support will be provided to you by a wider management team and their dedicated directors. Guide your team within a well-resourced and centrally located Cairns clinic. The Role: Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families & other relevant stakeholders. Conduct a variety of speech and language assessments and planning for evidence‑based interventions. The interventions will be carried out in client homes and in clinic. Collaborate with your local and wider team to enable a holistic, multi‑disciplinary approach for best service delivery to clients. Coupled with assisting the individual needs of each client, families will receive regular training and tools to achieve therapy goals in the home and community. Develop and lead group programs for parents and support staff. Provide support and guidance to evolving Speech Pathologists if of interest. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology (hold a Speech Pathology Australia Membership). Clinical experience working with children and/or adults is desired however graduates are welcomed Good written and verbal communication with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging. Ability to work both well in a team and independently. Above industry salary + professional development + leave and allowances.
