Base pay range A$1,200.00/daily - A$1,270.00/daily Work for a major utilities provider backed by the Queensland Government Business architecture, process modelling, value streams, architecture principles 6+6 month daily rate contract, Brisbane based, 3 days WFH Job Title : Process Architect Contract: Initial 6-month term, with a planned 6-month extension Location: Brisbane-based | Hybrid work model (3 days work from home)Job Summary Our client is a major utilities provider backed by the Queensland Government. Their Digital, Technology and Information group is currently seeking an experienced Process Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analysing and optimising business processes across the organisation. You will evaluate existing workflows to identify pain points and improvement opportunities, develop detailed process models, and implement strategies aimed at enhancing overall organisational efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities Discover and model value streams and processes Discover and document key metrics to measure and optimise value steams and processes Lead and facilitate process analysis workshops Maintain enterprise view of process catalogue ensuring alignment with process frameworks, accelerating current state analysis Liaise with program and project teams on current state and target state process architectures Support design reviews, ensuring alignment with process frameworks, policies and standards. Collaborate with Architecture and Project teams to embed and standardise process analysis into design processes. Identify, create and maintain process related reference architectures and patterns. Qualifications and experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or relevant experience. Proven experience in business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering at enterprise level. Strong knowledge of process modelling tools (e.g. BPMN, Visio, ARIS, Signavio). Understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles . Familiarity with APQC frameworks and best practices in business process management. Proven experience working in cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Experience using TOGAF or Zachman Framework, and/or knowledge of BIZBOK. Experience working in an Architecture Practice. Job capability requirements Ability to develop and interpret high-level data entity models to support process design. Comprehensive understanding of business architecture, process modelling, value streams, architecture principles, standards, and services. Strong knowledge of process frameworks, value streams and business capabilities Knowledge in Business Process Management (BPM) Proficient in process mapping methodologies and techniques including BPMN Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated knowledge in the concept of process architecture Strategic, customer-centric mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Why apply with Hudson Recruitment?
