Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel – Energy/Projects – 4–7 Years PQE Salary: A$180,000.00/yr – A$220,000.00/yr Our client is a global renewable energy company playing a critical role accelerating the energy transition across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America . The Role Due to growth the legal team is seeking a Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel to support its expanding development and delivery platform. Working closely with the General Counsel and senior commercial and development stakeholders, this role will provide hands‑on legal support across the full lifecycle of their projects. This is a broad, commercially focused role suited to a lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business and influencing outcomes in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities Provide legal support across the development, construction, financing and operation of renewable energy projects Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including EPC and balance‑of‑plant contracts, long‑term service and O&M agreements, connection, offtake and market‑facing arrangements, supplier, procurement and consultancy agreements Support project financing and investment transactions, including coordination with external counsel Partner with development and commercial teams to enable timely, commercially pragmatic decision-making About You 4–7 years’ post‑admission experience Strong experience in energy, infrastructure or major projects, ideally with exposure to renewables or storage Background in top‑tier / mid‑tier private practice and/or in‑house within energy or infrastructure Commercial, solutions‑oriented approach with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and managing complex, high‑value matters Contact For a confidential discussion, please contact Sam Gray at or call .
