You will be trusted to advise business stakeholders directly, review and negotiate high-value and complex contracts, and support a variety of commercial projects across the business. What work will you do? In this role, you will: Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts including procurement, services, construction, and technology agreements; Support the business on complex commercial transactions and projects; Advise on contract risk, obligations and structuring across operational functions; Assist in managing contract disputes and working with external counsel where required; Contribute to compliance initiatives and corporate governance processes; and Maintain and improve internal templates, policies, and legal resources. What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a solicitor in Australia; 4–7 years PQE in commercial law, ideally with experience in contract negotiation and transactional work; Experience in construction, infrastructure, or technology contracts will be highly regarded; In-house experience is desirable but not essential; Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work closely with non-legal stakeholders; Proactive, solution-focused and confident managing competing priorities.
