Location Sydney CBD Office (George Street) | 5 days on-site Reports To General Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis The Opportunity As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager , you will lead and support the group’s business planning, forecasting, reporting, treasury activities, and strategic projects. You will play a pivotal role in investor reporting and provide high-quality financial and commercial insights to Aveo’s business leaders, investors, and financiers, enabling informed, data-driven decisions. Partnering with managers across the business, you will help develop and enhance budgeting and financial planning models to maximise value at both the Division and Group level. Some of your responsibilities will include Review the consolidated group cash flow model ensuring accuracy and completeness following periodic updates for actual results, forecasts and budgets Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis on business targets, initiatives and debt covenants Model M&A scenarios and assess impacts on investment returns. Provide financial and commercial insights to business leaders to support decision-making. Drive continuous improvement in cash flow modelling and reporting processes. Reporting & Insights Own monthly management reporting for leadership and contribute to investor reporting Support analyst with monthly cash flow and liquidity reporting, including variance analysis and forecasting Review and submit lender reporting requirements, including compliance certificates, quarterly results performance and budgets. Treasury & Liquidity Manage short-term liquidity forecasts and monitor covenant compliance Respond to lender queries About you A degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline, with a professional qualification (CA, CPA or CFA) 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, corporate finance or a similar role Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex financial models, with advanced Excel capability A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to assess financial impacts, evaluate outcomes and translate data into actionable insights Sound understanding of treasury, liquidity management and financial structures Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, practical terms A proven track record of delivering results, managing competing priorities and operating effectively in a fast-paced environment Why Aveo?
