Senior Team Member – Electronic Resources Location: Kensington NSW, Australia. Employment Type: Full Time (35-hour week). Duration: Continuing Role. Remuneration: Level 6 from $100k + 17% superannuation & leave loading. Why Your Role Matters The Electronic Resources Unit ensures seamless and reliable access to electronic scholarly information, supporting the university's research, teaching and learning activities. As the service owner of Leganto, the Unit manages course resources, copyright and data quality. The Senior Team Member focuses on maximizing the value of library resources by resolving complex issues and driving process improvements that enhance data quality and resource accessibility. Reporting to the Manager, Electronic Resources and Data Quality (or Manager, Electronic Resources & Access), the role involves developing and maintaining accurate records for electronic titles and datasets, managing data integration from multiple sources, ensuring compliance with library policies and copyright legislation, generating reports, leading team activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Who You Are Degree from a higher education institution or equivalent knowledge gained through other education, training and / or experience. Demonstrated experience and skill in managing electronic resources, cataloguing and applying metadata in an academic library or equivalent environment. Proven accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to analyse management information and provide advice based on the analysis. Ability to apply complex procedures to a range of online tools, solve problems independently and support and lead team members. Sound interpersonal and negotiating skills and ability to write clear technical reports on online systems. Ability to organise own work within a team, establish priorities and meet deadlines and goals. Understanding of how to ethically and effectively leverage AI tools to diagnose complex issues, improve efficiency and contribute to innovative solutions.
