Site Supervisor - Relocation to Adelaide Design & Build is partnering with a national client to find a Site Supervisor. We're looking for people with 2‑4 years experience in Melbourne who would consider relocating to Adelaide. For this permanent role, you should have multi‑residential and high‑rise expertise and a track record with projects over $50 million. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct site inductions for staff and subcontractors. Manage subcontractors to ensure they fulfil their roles and responsibilities. Monitor subcontractor performance daily with regard to safety, quality and program and report deficiencies to the Site Manager. Assist the Site Manager in commissioning and handover by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project Manager. Manage cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, to ensure the project meets required performance targets in relation to budget. Maintain positive industrial relations with authorities and unions, resolving issues in accordance with client guidelines. Desired experience Trade background. Minimum 2 years experience in a Site Supervisor position. Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential. Proven experience as a Foreman/Supervisor on residential or commercial construction projects. Proven experience managing a team including subcontractors, fostering professional relationships. Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements; proven experience effectively controlling site safety.
