Concreter/Construction Assistant

Job Summary Based at Council's Inverell Works Centre, the successful applicant will be responsible for the execution of general duties including the use of concreting skills. Selection Criteria NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent; NSW Class C Drivers Licence; and SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (‘White Card’). Satisfactory formal trade qualification in construction techniques and satisfactory experience in concreting work. NSW Class MR Drivers Licence; Traffic Controller Certificate or ability and willingness to obtain one; Chainsaw Operators Certificate; Confined Spaces Certificate; and Employment Conditions Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 3, Grade 6. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience and will be in a range from $1,136.34 to $1,222.94 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.513 per hour will be paid where applicable.
