We're seeking a proactive Work Health & Safety (WHS) Advisor to support our teams across the Pilbara, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient on-site operations. About the Role Based in the Pilbara region, this hands‑on role supports a diverse range of operational teams across road maintenance, civil works, waste facilities, and depot activities. Key Responsibilities Partner with supervisors and field teams to provide practical WHS guidance, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement across all work sites. Provide expert WHS advice across roads, waste, depot and civil works operations. Conduct site inspections, hazard identification and incident investigations. Support development and implementation of WHS management systems and safe work procedures. Lead toolbox talks, training sessions and on‑site coaching to promote safe work practices. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, local government standards and regulatory requirements. Assist with emergency preparedness and contractor management. Prepare WHS reports, risk registers and safety performance updates for leadership. About You We're looking for a practical, approachable WHS professional who thrives in field-based environments and understands the unique challenges of local government operations. Required Qualifications Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum) Demonstrated experience in roads, civil works, waste services or depot operations. Experience working within local councils or government. Site-based experience (highly desirable). Strong incident investigation and risk management capability. Comfortable working site-based across multiple locations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable Qualifications ICAM or similar incident investigation training. First Aid, Return‑to‑Work Coordinator, or high-risk licences. Knowledge of WA WHS legislation and local government frameworks. Why Join Us?
