Strong relationship‑building capabilities, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to business development are essential, alongside excellent organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include driving growth by selling professional ICT services and products, developing high-quality proposals and tailored solutions, and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities. As the primary account manager for a portfolio of clients, you will lead business strategies to expand our market presence, attend client sites, and participate in industry and partner events throughout Western Australia. Collaboration with internal teams, contributing to tender submissions, and maintaining professionalism in every client interaction are critical for success in this dynamic and varied role. In this position, you’ll: Drive business growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while expanding service offerings to current clients. Serve as the dedicated Account Manager, responding professionally to enquiries, nurturing existing clients, and acting as the main point of contact to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, deliver accurate quotes, and tender responses that meet client needs and company standards. Keep the CRM updated, maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, and report sales data and forecasts to the Leadership Team. Drive year‑on‑year sales growth, meet targets, and implement strategies to increase customer value and attract new clients. Identify cost‑saving opportunities, demonstrate financial awareness, and participate in internal process improvements. Travel to regional areas as needed to support our clients. Skills & Qualifications Proven track record in business development or sales within the ICT sector, or significant experience in IT with a strong desire and capability to transition into a sales‑focused role. Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technological trends. Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, driving consistent revenue and sales growth. Exceptional client relationship and account management skills, with a history of building and maintaining robust, long‑term partnerships. Experienced in preparing and delivering tenders, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client and company requirements. Highly proficient in using CRM platforms (such as ConnectWise, HubSpot, or similar) to manage sales pipelines, track opportunities, and provide accurate reporting and forecasting. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and present persuasive sales proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholders. Solid commercial understanding, capable of aligning sales activity with organisational profitability, interpreting sales data, and identifying cost‑saving initiatives. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all organisational levels. Well organised, with the ability to juggle multiple opportunities, proposals, and client relationships concurrently in a fast‑paced environment. Team‑oriented approach, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, operations, marketing, and procurement to achieve shared business objectives.
