Role Purpose / Responsibilities Applications are invited for the position of Quality Control Officer. The following duties will apply but not limited to : Perform all quality control assays for release of cell therapy products Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms to ensure compliance Create and review quality associated documentation in line with GMP principles Apply your microbiology and FACS knowledge to troubleshoot and participate in developing assays where appropriate Contribute to process improvements, including validation and change control Ensure work practices comply with the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act, related legislative requirements and the Institute's OH&S policies and procedures About you To be successful in this role you will need : Minimum diploma in laboratory skills or equivalent experience in microbiology within a medical laboratory, life science, or pharmaceutical setting Knowledge and experience in laboratory operations including testing in microbiological techniques and / or flow cytometry techniques Demonstrated experience in a GMP facility is highly desirable with a working knowledge of contamination control procedures and aseptic techniques Remuneration Salary range is $76,296 to $90,917 p.a. plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for two (2) years.
