Our learning community is inspired by our motto, “United in Christ.” We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to lead our Junior Primary Science/STEM program. Ideal Candidates Highly motivated and committed to improving student outcomes through high‑impact teaching approaches. Use ongoing assessment to check for understanding, differentiate teaching, and plan next steps. Collaborate to implement whole‑school approaches and take collective responsibility for all students. Have experience with Teach Well. Commit to ongoing professional learning and growth, including coaching, classroom observation, and feedback. Selection Criteria Demonstrate excellence in teaching and classroom management. Ability to differentiate teaching to cater to student needs. Skill in using data to inform teaching practices and raise student achievement. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, students and parents. Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude with a growth mindset and a desire to continue to improve. Strong understanding of the Western Australian and Australian Science Curriculum. Commitment to evidence‑based educational practices, particularly high‑impact instruction. Proven ability to plan collaboratively, implement whole‑school approaches consistently and take collective responsibility for students. Proficiency in ICT skills, especially iPads. A passion for Science. Actively contribute to the life of the school. Qualifications Required Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of duties. Relevant four‑year tertiary qualification. Accreditation to Teach Religious Education Learning Area, or ability to achieve this accreditation.
