Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Change Specialist to work within our Cyber and Technology Service Area. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the change management strategy for Council’s suite of digital transformation projects, including the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project. The successful candidate in this role will possess strong analytical and communication skills with a proven track record in Organisational Change Management. They will work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders leading changes that will significantly impact all of Council. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver a strategic change management plan that aligns and delivers the Cyber and Technology’s program objectives. Support the Business Systems Modernisation Manager to build an organisational change capability including the development of change frameworks, policies, and templates. Proactively Identify and address resistance to change while fostering a positive mindset towards the change. Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, strategically plan and implement strategies to ensure the program activities and changes are aligned with delivering high-quality outcomes. Effectively design and monitor execution of key change management planning deliverables such as the Change Strategy, Stakeholder Analysis, Training and Development Plan, Change Readiness Assessment, Change Proposals, Communications Plan, Impact Assessments. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders and provide guidance to stakeholders in relation to business improvements and technology project outcomes. Design and oversee training programs to equip various staff with required skills. Coach and motivate project stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve change leadership excellence. Establish and monitor KPIs related to change management success and report on the progress and areas of improvement. Monitor and evaluate user adoption rates during the testing periods and implement strategies for enhancing user acceptance and minimise resistance. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Change Management, Organisational Psychology, and/or related discipline Demonstrated experience as a Change Specialist working on IT and Business change programs, supporting strategic initiatives. Proven experience as a Change Specialist in complex ICT projects such as Enterprise Resource Planning implementation projects. Demonstrated experience managing a complex and diverse group of stakeholders and aligning them to program objectives.
