You'll be a key member of a team that is fast-paced, independent, ambitious and proficient across the full tech stack The Mobile Apps team you will be joining is a core part of our digital product and technology team at Kogan.com. Our team is fast-paced, independent, ambitious and have end to end ownership of the Kogan.com site, the Android native application, and Kogan Shopping Android native application. What you’ll do: Architect,buildandscalenewfeaturesacrossourinternalplatformsthatpowereverypartofKogan.com’soperations. ContinuouslyimprovebackenddatabasesandAPIstoboostperformance,reliabilityandscalabilityforthousandsofcustomers,teammembersandsuppliers. WorkcloselywithourBusinessAnalystandstakeholdersacrosslogistics,engineeringandotherteamstoturnbusinessneedsintosmart,efficienttechnicalsolutions. Takeownershipacrossthefulldevelopmentlifecycle,fromdesignandimplementationtotesting,UATanddeployment,withcodeshippingtoproductionfrequently. SupportacultureofengineeringexcellencebycontributingtoQAefforts,peerreviewsandhelpingliftthetechnicalbaracrosstheteam. What you’ll need: Technical Skills: Proven experience with C# .NET Framework, .NET (for Linux and Windows), MS SQL Server, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and REST APIs. Version Control: Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices. Testing Proficiency: Solid experience with unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainability. Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with AWS and Docker is a strong advantage. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on building effective working relationships. Conscientiousness: Takes ownership and accountability for deliverables, monitors outcomes post-deployment, and proactively resolves issues or bugs.
