Service Manager- Before and After School Care Service Manager – Building Centres of Excellence At TASK, it’s all about the kids – and the team that supports them. We are investing in three senior leadership roles to transform our largest services into Centres of Excellence. Great Out of School Hours (OOSH) care requires vision, investment, and leadership. To lead this transformation, we have created new Service Manager positions – senior, full‑time roles dedicated to one large service. Why these roles are different A major investment: Assignment of senior leaders to create Centres of Excellence. Collaboration at the highest level: Work closely with TASK’s Child Experience Manager to design sector‑leading programs and experiences. Senior leadership with single site focus: Go deep, not wide – lead one service to its full potential. Part of the management team: Shape strategy and influence practice across TASK while leading on the ground transformation. Resourced to succeed: Backed by organisation‑wide support so you can lead with confidence. Service Location : Stanmore Public School Job Description Lead and support a team of dedicated educators and the Service Leader within the school. Elevate a leading flagship OOSH service to become a Centre of Excellence. Build, develop, and inspire a large, high‑capacity team. Partner with schools, families, and communities to strengthen connections and impact. Ensure operational excellence in compliance, quality, and delivery. Contribute to TASK’s wider growth and innovation as part of the management team. What we’re looking for A passionate, proven, and successful leader in OOSH or a related education/care environment. A track record of building high‑performing teams and a step‑up culture. Strong operational and compliance expertise. A leader who thrives on innovation, transformation, and community impact. Experience in OOSH, childcare or education (leadership experience a bonus). A Certificate III (or higher) in Children’s Services, Education, or a related field is preferred.
