The Role: Senior Account Managers are responsible for maximising revenue to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with QMS. This Senior Account Manager will be working with tier one agencies and act as the main interface between the agencies and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is always provided. The role will be working on winning new business as well as developing existing customer relationships and will see you out and about visiting clients on a regular basis. Specifically, you are responsible for:

Helping to manage and achieve State Sales Revenue vs Budget
Managing workload and process of Account Executives/Account Managers in the VIC Agency team
Driving the business and brand across the relevant agency portfolio
Seeking to increase QMS Media share of media revenue across the product suite
Reporting weekly performance of revenue and business-related matters to Group Business Director

This role is 70% Strategic / 30% Operational What you will be able to do:

Formulating, implementing, and managing strategic business plans regarding client base accounts to achieve Sales revenue/Sales quota targets.
Working closely with agencies to determine their client’s present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation.
Conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
Work with the sales team to deliver on the budget and strategy.
Ensuring delivery, accurate, timely reporting of weekly sales forecast
Communicate with operations, development and management teams
Minimum 8 F2F engagements per week
Ownership of major buying group plus assisting AM and AE. Ability to build and present Qtrly business plans for agency, achieve budget and growth requirements for patch
Management of contacts/briefs/budgets from respective patch
Assist with the development of AC/AE/AM as well as mentoring junior positions

What are we looking for? Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications or similar or equivalent work experience is highly desirable;
Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills;
A minimum of 4 - 5 years sales experience within a media environment.
Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
Previous experience in managing budgets and achieving sales targets individually and as a team;
