Senior Sales Account Executive Join the Square outside sales team in a Senior Sales Account Executive role. Focus on new logo sales across all merchant verticals, building your own outbound strategy while partnering with Business Development to generate a book of business. Source leads, cold call and email prospects, and close complex deals selling the Square ecosystem. Based in Melbourne or Sydney. Responsibilities Understand merchant business and technology needs and execute a consultative sales motion. Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, demos, and develop solutions using first‑ and third‑party offerings that best meet prospect needs. Build relationships in the field to increase win rates. Deliver a predictable, repeatable, scalable outbound sales process, including cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, etc. Partner with the Business Development Team to convert and close cold, outbound leads. Introduce Square to merchants in all verticals (restaurants, retail, services). Oversee the sales cycle from prospect to close and partner with other teams to ensure successful onboarding. Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through proactive outbound efforts. Collaborate with Product and Marketing to align solutions with market needs. Leverage prior sales experience to create a creative go‑to‑market strategy. Utilize Salesforce to track, monitor, and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and outcomes. Qualifications 3+ years of full‑cycle sales experience. Demonstrated exceeding sales targets, selling diverse ecosystems, and closing complex deals. Ability to drive deals independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Experience in new‑logo sourcing and acquisition. Collaborative, team‑player mentality.
