McDonald’s Australia is on the lookout for a strategic and dynamic National Media Manager to lead our media strategy and drive impactful partnerships that connect with millions of Australians every day. In this high‑profile role, you’ll be the media expert within our marketing team, bringing thought leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of evolving media consumption and customer behaviour. What can you expect on a day‑to‑day basis? Media Strategy & Execution: Leading the development of integrated media plans that are customer‑centric, data‑driven, and commercially impactful. Partnering with our media agency to optimise campaigns, drive innovation, and ensure best‑in‑class execution across all channels. Agency & Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with media and sponsorship partners, internal marketing teams, and agency village. Being the go‑to expert for media across the business. Budget & Performance Management: Managing media budgets, overseeing financial processes, and delivering performance reporting that informs future investment decisions. Your keys to success: 10+ years’ experience in media planning and buying, with strong client leadership and negotiation skills. Expertise in digital advertising, ad‑tech, mar‑tech, and data‑led performance analytics. Strong strategic thinking, relationship management, and financial acumen.
