We have 8 Early Education Services all located in Cranbourne & Clyde. 125-135 Berwick Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne 90 Green Gully Road, Clyde We provide a quality flexible education program through a range of different services including: Centre Based Care Before and After School Care Funded Kindergarten We are looking for passionate dedicated educators for an immediate start. Exciting Opportunity: Chef, Maternity Position to commence end of October We have a unique role available for immediate start that combines family friendly hours and welcoming team environment. Previous experience working in a fast paced kitchen environment is essential. Candidates must be willing to take on ordering and maintaining stock level on a weekly basis, be able to work within a big team environment and also adapt daily menu to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, cultural & family preferences. Must be available on Monday - Friday (5 days p/week) each shift will be approx. 6 hours in duration. Qualification Requirements Food Handlers Certificate Working with Children's Check (non volunteer) Kitchen Supervisor qualification and knowledge is an advantage. If you have a Childcare experience this would be an advantage. Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma training is an advantage. Previous experience is a must Knowledge of cooking with Allergens, medical conditions and sensitivities an advantage Qualifications : Experience in cookery Experience : Previous experience in an early childhood education setting is favourable but not essential. References : Must provide current and contactable professional references. Working with Children Check : A valid non-volunteer Working With Children Check is essential. Regulatory Knowledge : Food Safety Standards and Allergen and Anaphylaxis cooking essential Teamwork & Professionalism : Must be personable, collaborative, and able to work effectively with centre team members to deliver a nutritional and delicious menu.
