Project Manager

The Role The Project Manager is responsible for delivering EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and to high technical and quality standards. The role involves planning work, coordinating contractors, managing client communication, and ensuring installations are delivered smoothly from site assessment to commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination Develop project schedules and plan the sequences of work. Prepare for installations by understanding site conditions, access requirements, and commissioning timelines. Monitor project progress, risks, and key milestones. Technical Scope & Site Assessment Review drawings, hardware requirements, and installation methods. Conduct or review site assessments to confirm technical needs. Identify constructability challenges and WHS considerations early. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Lead project kick‑off meetings and set clear expectations. Provide regular updates to clients on progress, timelines, and issues. Build positive working relationships with customers and internal teams. Brief installation partners on project scope, drawings, and site‑specific requirements. Oversee installation quality, workmanship, and WHS compliance. Provide practical problem‑solving and installation support during delivery. Installation, Commissioning & Quality Assurance Oversee site works, energisation and commissioning activities. Ensure that all testing, verification, and installation evidence is captured correctly. Review key deliverables such as testing sheets, photos, compliance certification and as‑built information. Project Close‑Out & Handover Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and provided to the client. Support final walkthroughs, client training, and readiness for maintenance teams. Participate in Lessons Learned to continuously improve project delivery. Workplace Health & Safety Follow Safe Work Practices and procedures. Comply with all reasonable instructions in relation to health and safety. KPIs Project Delivery: No safety incidents On time Within budget Target margin per project achieved Monthly invoice amount accuracy About You Can effectively guide contractors and support them on technical matters. Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders. Solves problems early and manages risks proactively. Ensures each project runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Demonstrates initiative, collaboration, and a desire to grow into more advanced project delivery responsibilities. Background as an electrician, field technician, electrical engineer, or experience on related EPC projects, is desirable. Why Join Us?
