If you are a motivated and talented professional looking to make a significant impact, becoming their Finance Manger is the perfect opportunity for you.The RoleReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will support the business with financial reporting, taxation compliance and team management. The Finance team provides support to all offices in Australia and has regular catch ups to brainstorm ideas and implement projects which are relevant to all areas of the organisation. The team works together closely, and there are regular opportunities for collaboration across the entire business. Duties would include, but not be limited to:-Lead and mentor direct reports and the broader finance team, sharing knowledge and promoting professional developmentPrepare and review monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet and cash flowMaintain balance sheet reconciliations, such as fixed assets, leases, prepayments, accruals, intercompany, capital and drawingsEnsure sufficient funding to meet working capital requirementsCollaborate with General Managers to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts & review monthly management accounts emphasizing key performance indicators, variances, and recommended actionsProvide monthly variance analysis commentary to the Group Head QuartersEnsure compliance with bank covenants, foster and maintain positive relationships with banks and manage bank guarantee arrangements for lease obligations.Prepare annual statutory accounts and group-to-local reconciliations.Compile group consolidation packs for Australian entities for the international consolidation process.Coordinate with auditors and prepare necessary information for the annual audit.Oversee Tax Compliance, support ad hoc tax queriesAbout YouAs the successful Finance Manager, you come from a technical background, with strong foundations in Financial Accounting. In addition, you possess exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
