Due to continuing strong growth in the residential construction sector, Shelford is offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Scheduler to join our Residential Construction team. Role Reporting to the Residential Construction Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling a wide variety and complexity of dwellings including single and two storey houses, unit developments, renovations, as well as a range of government projects. Key functions in your role will include: Completing scheduling works to facilitate the progress of the project Working cooperatively with our drafting, contracts, accounts, and prestart departments to facilitate the smooth progression of the scheduling works Requesting and evaluating quotes from our suppliers and subcontractors Creating full bill of quantities Preparing and sending purchase orders Raising and monitoring variations Attend to general and construction queries from clients, supervisors, sub‑contractors and suppliers As the successful candidate you will have: Minimum of 3 years scheduling experience with single and two storey houses and unit developments High level capacity to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings Strong commitment to high standards of quality and efficiency Capacity to work within tight time restraints Strong time management and organisational skills Exceptional attention to detail Effective communication and sound problem solving skills Diploma of Building and Construction will be highly regarded In return, we will offer you: Excellent salary package Friendly and supportive work environment Modern office with great amenities and onsite parking Study assistance Employee Assistance Program If you think you have the drive and commitment to capitalise on this exciting opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter through Seek.
