About Stepping Stone House Stepping Stone House is a not‑for‑profit charity that provides accommodation and personal development for children and young people aged 12‑25 years who, through no fault of their own, find themselves homeless, at risk of homelessness or unable to live at home. Key Responsibilities Lead the Stepping Stone House Impact Funding Strategy, including establishing new revenue streams, driving internal funding culture, and reporting on fundraising outcomes. Lead Brand, Marketing & Communications. Fundraising Events, including growth, commercial sponsorship plans and event management. Donor Relations, ensuring the longevity of key stakeholder relationships and improving donor journeys. Advocacy program development and strategic engagement. Role model SSH values and leadership behaviour. Team Leadership and representation. Knowledge, Qualification & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing, or a related field. Minimum 10 years’ experience and demonstrated success at a management level in a communications, brand or fundraising role. 5+ years of team leadership experience. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful fundraising and/or marketing strategies. Proven ability to meet fundraising targets, along with creating and developing new fundraising opportunities. High level analytical skills, with experience making decisions based on data insights. Demonstrated project management, problem solving and time management skills. Excellent written communication and editing skills as well as knowledge of appropriate publications, social media and promotional opportunities within the sector. Strong relationship, networking and communication skills. Demonstrated self‑organisation and ability to work autonomously. Demonstrated understanding of homelessness and issues facing young people in the homelessness sector. Experience working with digital tools like Salesforce to measure, manage and help drive fundraising goals. High‑level word‑processing skills including an excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with fundraising/relationship management databases.
