Our rapidly growing business is looking for a committed and experienced National Field Sales Manager . Tasked with managing the national field sales team with a clear objective of optimising the sales, distribution and profitability of the Archie Rose portfolio within the national independent channel – retail and on‑premise. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, Sydney‑based Field Sales Manager to define the field sales strategy, build and manage the national field team, supporting the efforts of the team to drive distribution and deliver sales growth. In this role you will be responsible for managing all members of the national sales team, supporting the delivery of customer performance across the defined national customer universe, ultimately accountable for delivering the independent sales budget by driving the sales, volume, visibility, profitability and overall performance. Additionally, the role is tasked with leading the commercial promotional planning agenda, establishing strategic performance goals aligned to the overall goals of our business. Reporting Relationships Based in Sydney, the role sits within the Commercial team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales National field sales team Establishing close cross‑functional relationships with the national account, trade / brand marketing, brand advocacy, operations and production teams. Principal Accountabilities Manage and lead the independent field sales team to achieve the defined sales revenue targets. Collaborate with the national business managers and marketing teams to develop and implement strategically aligned sales plans. Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies in conjunction with the sales team to expand product distribution and increase market share. Monitor and analyse internal sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and growth. Collaborate with the senior management team to establish the annual sales targets, territory maintenance, and KPI measures for the field team. Deliver sales performance of the identified universe of accounts across the independent retail and on‑premise channels, maximising all opportunities to grow distribution, sales and profitability. Develop, manage and execute the annual commercial strategy for each of the respective independent channels. Develop, manage and execute the annual promotional plan for the specified channels. Job Details Lead and develop a high performing sales team. Lead and execute the commercial strategy, working closely with cross‑functional teams will be critical to the success of the role. Support the national sales team in delivering against identified targets. Increase the knowledge and education of Archie Rose products in the relevant sales channels. Monitoring the activity compliance during agreed sales activities, embed an effective measurement and evaluation protocol to evaluate all promotional activity and investment. In‑depth understanding of the industry, total market and relevant channels. Identify and develop opportunities to increase the awareness of the Archie Rose Distilling Co. portfolio, with the intention of increasing sales and distribution. Recruitment Criteria Minimum of 3 years experience in field sales team management, ideally within the Australian alcohol industry. Experience in customer management in the independent channel, with an in‑depth understanding of the specific customer channels. Track record in success in delivering against targets, driving sales and channel growth. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Ability to lead, develop and influence a high performing sales team. Ability to work independently, strong communication skills and work outside of normal business hours and on weekends, as required by the role.
