What You’ll Be Doing We’re looking for a leader who doesn’t just keep the beat – they create it. As our Head of IT Delivery, you’ll define the framework, patterns and governance that bring consistency and clarity to how initiatives are delivered across IT at both Compare the Market and iSelect. This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, alignment and empowering teams to deliver with confidence. You won’t be leading individual initiatives day-to-day, that’s the role of our Delivery Leads. Instead, you’ll make sure they’re all working to the same rhythm – enhancing the workflows across each team. Your focus will be on: Building and owning the delivery framework for multiple streams across IT Driving governance and consistency – from SteerCo packs to cadence and artifact standards Managing SteerCo’s for five key streams, ensuring decision-ready packs and clear action tracking Quarterly planning and alignment, bringing together business objectives, capacity and dependencies Initiative Portfolio oversight, including WIP limits, capacity bands and dependency management Transparent reporting, using metrics and dashboards to keep stakeholders informed Leadership – you’ll coach and mentor nine Delivery Leads across Brisbane and Melbourne, creating a strong, connected community What’s In It For You At Compare the Market and iSelect, we’re all about helping people make smart choices – and joining us might just be yours. Here’s what you’ll bring: A tech-related degree or equivalent experience 5+ years in software delivery leadership roles with a focus on value-driven outcomes Experience designing and running quarterly planning and large-scale planning events (PI planning, multi-team planning) Proven ability to chair governance forums like SteerCo’s across multiple streams Hands-on experience with agile delivery, managing release cycles, and supporting multiple technical teams Familiarity with modern delivery toolchains (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment A natural leader who coaches through influence and embeds an agile mindset across teams Sound like a good fit?
