Learning Support Officer | St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Dubbo 12-Month Contract | Part-time (50 hours per fortnight) Competitive hourly rate & access to employee benefits About the Role St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Dubbo is seeking a passionate Learning Support Officer to join the team. As a Learning Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers by delivering targeted, high-quality assistance in reading, writing, and mathematics. Your focus will be working 1:1 or in small groups with students who need extra support, helping to build their confidence, skills, and independence. Key responsibilities: Promote and embody the Vision and Mission of Catholic education in the Diocese. Support students’ spiritual growth and foster a respectful, inclusive school culture. Assist students develop their literacy, numeracy, social and integration skills. Develop programs for use in the learning support centre. Perform clerical duties as required in the Inclusive Education area. Work with students on a 1:1 or group basis to meet the individual needs of the student. Work with teachers in order to meet the specific needs of individual students.
