About the role The Demand Planner role sits at the heart of the supply chain, owning the demand signal that drives manufacturing and inventory decisions across a defined portfolio. It is a hands-on role with genuine accountability for forecast quality and supply outcomes, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply. The role suits an experienced planner who enjoys cross-functional engagement, data-led decision making, and navigating complexity rather than a purely transactional forecasting environment. What you’ll be doing Owning the demand forecast across a defined portfolio Translating commercial inputs, promotions, and market trends into a credible demand plan Analysing forecast variances and driving continuous improvement Monitoring supply outlook and inventory health to minimise stockouts and obsolescence Contributing to S&OP with clear, data-led insights Identifying short- and mid-term supply risks and supporting recovery plans Ensuring data integrity across SAP, JDA Demand, and BW Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to manage supply issues transparently What we’re looking for At least 3 years experience in demand planning within FMCG Strong forecasting, inventory, and analytical capability Confidence engaging and influencing cross-functional stakeholders Comfort operating in a fast-paced, changing environment Hands-on experience with SAP, JDA Demand, BW, and Excel Why consider it?
