Salesforce Technical Lead

Location: QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS Organisation: Federal Government Employment type: Contract Responsibilities Act as the technical lead for Salesforce technical delivery, providing guidance and oversight to developers and administrators. Design and review technical solutions across Salesforce clouds (PSS, Sales, Service, Experience) and custom applications. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders across projects to translate requirements into technical designs. Lead code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure quality across all deliverables. Support the implementation of CI / CD pipelines and structured release management for Salesforce components. Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with government security, privacy, and accessibility standards. Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing. Required Skills and Experience Extensive hands‑on experience in Salesforce development and solution design, including Apex, Omnistudio, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools. Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and sharing rules. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage delivery in complex environments. Familiarity with version control and CI / CD practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Selection Criteria Essential criteria Extensive hands‑on experience in Salesforce development and solution design, including Apex, Omnistudio, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools. Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and sharing rules. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage delivery in complex environments. Familiarity with version control and CI / CD practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
