Job Title: Salesforce Solution Lead / Senior Salesforce Engineer We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce professional to join a federal department as either a Salesforce Solution Lead or Senior Salesforce Engineer , depending on your expertise. If you’re passionate about architecting scalable solutions, building high-impact features, and guiding teams in a dynamic environment, we’d love to connect. Salesforce Solution Lead – NV1, work location – Canberra / interstate candidates who can travel to Canberra once or twice a month will be considered. Senior Salesforce developer – Baseline security clearance, work location – QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS Contract duration: 12 months with extension What You’ll Do Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. Translate business needs into technical designs, solution architectures, and high-quality configurations or code. Lead end-to-end delivery including requirements review, effort estimation, solution design, development, testing, and deployment. Build and enhance Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), workflows, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs. Ensure platform governance, security, best practices, and adherence to Salesforce design standards. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor junior team members. (For Solution Lead) Drive architectural decisions, contribute to roadmap planning, and provide technical leadership across projects. (For Senior Engineer) Own complex development tasks and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices. What You Bring 5–12 years of hands‑on Salesforce experience in enterprise or government environments (PSS experience beneficial). Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and Salesforce automation. Proven experience in solution design, Salesforce application architecture, and integration patterns. Solid understanding of security models, data modelling, governor limits, and performance considerations. Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps is an advantage. Salesforce certifications preferred (Platform Developer, Application Architect, System Architect, or Consultant certs).
