About The Role Working closely with our Australia and New Zealand based Sales Teams, you will lead and drive the implementation of existing and strategic new business development projects for our Corrugated Packaging Products across our 8-branch footprint. Based at our Corporate headquarters in Milperra, you will enjoy the support and collaborative approach of a strong leadership structure with exciting growth plans. Key Accountabilities include: Lead, implement and manage existing and new product development (NPD) projects Maintain and manage key client and Corporate accounts Cultivate relationships with supply partners; sourcing the best materials, pricing, and turnaround times Provide technical sales support and product guidance to clients in target sectors Manage the design and development processes for products based on client requirements and project briefs Communicate directly with clients and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and clarity Collaborate with internal teams on packaging design, material selection, and product innovation Deliver product specification and technical training and support to the sales teams Manage and resolve QIRs Whilst not essential, the ability to create dielines, drawings or renderings would be highly regarded. This role could suit an industrial packaging designer seeking to take the next step in their career. About You To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate: A proven track record in a similar role Strong understanding of corrugated materials (Flute types and board styles etc.) and manufacturing processes Strong understanding of packaging materials, print processes, and finishing techniques SAP or equivalent ERP exposure and strong computer literacy High attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and collaborative teamwork approach Qualifications in Industrial Design or Packaging Design, or a related field, would be highly desirable About Us Plasdene Glass-Pak is now the largest independent, family and Australian-owned Packaging Distribution Business in Australia and we've recently established a branch in New Zealand. We supply glass and plastic bottles, jars, containers, closures, cartons, dividers, cans, flexible and bulk packaging to the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, health care, wine, oil, spirit, industrial, agricultural, pet care, personal care and cosmetic sectors, from eight Packaging Plaza Showrooms and Distribution Centres across AUS/NZ.
