Role Description We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help build and scale the Bixie platform. You’ll design and deliver core services that power LLM-driven features and workflow orchestration, while providing technical leadership across the engineering team. This is a full-time, on-site role in Docklands, VIC. What You’ll Do Architect and implement back-end services for AI-powered orchestration Collaborate with product, AI/ML, and platform teams on end-to-end solutions Productionize LLM features with a focus on reliability and scalability Set coding standards, review designs, and mentor engineers Drive innovation in APIs, integrations, and orchestration patterns What We’re Looking For Strong foundation in Computer Science and distributed systems Deep back-end engineering experience (Node.js, Go, Java, or Python) Working knowledge of LLMs, orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Temporal) Track record of building scalable, production-grade platforms Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Experience leading technical projects and mentoring teams Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Internet Note: This description focuses on role responsibilities, qualifications, and employment details.
