Coastal Breeze Relocations – Tallebudgera QLD Coastal Breeze Relocations is seeking a Furniture Removalist Driver to join our team on a casual basis in Ashmore, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering furniture and other household items for our customers. The position involves driving a removal truck as well as assisting with loading and unloading of items. What you’ll be doing Operate a removal truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all road rules and regulations Load and unload furniture and other household items with care to prevent any damage Assist customers with packing, wrapping and assembling furniture as needed Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the removal vehicle Provide excellent customer service throughout the relocation process Work collaboratively with the broader removals team to ensure a seamless experience for customers What we’re looking for Valid driver’s licence, preferably a Medium Rigid (willing to obtain one) Experience in furniture removals or a similar role in the transport and logistics industry A minimum of 2 years of removalist experience is required Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment Excellent attention to detail to ensure the safe handling of customer items Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for furniture removal work Flexible and adaptable approach to work, as the role may involve working weekends or out of normal business hours Availability for interstate trips that may involve overnight stays is negotiable Australian citizenship is required for this position.
