Senior System and Data Analyst

Registration Services are seeking a Senior System and Data Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing system design and uplift to shape data-driven decisions and support performance improvements across the Branch. This integral position is responsible for back end development and review to optimise systems and processes that ensure the accurate, reliable, and timely delivery of regulatory data for decision-makers and managers. About The Role As the Senior System and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for: Collecting, maintaining, analysing, and presenting data and information to both internal and external stakeholders. Providing technical leadership and driving IT system improvements. Ensuring timely responses to on-demand requests and fulfilling Registration Services reporting requirements. Playing a key role in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of regular compliance and reporting programs and systems within the Branch, helping to drive effective decision-making and operational efficiency. Extracting, analysing and presenting complex data and reports to meet reporting and legislative requirements. Advising stakeholders on the interpretation of data and emerging trends to support performance measurement, regulatory compliance and key issue identification. Developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, making data and statistics more accessible for stakeholders across the Branch. Providing technical assistance to employees on using data systems effectively, improving record‑keeping practices, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the Branch’s annual programs. Assisting with preparing briefing notes, reports, and documents related to complex and sensitive issues. About You To be successful in this role, you will: Demonstrate strong IT technical skills, with the ability to work with teams towards achieving improvement in regulatory data capture and reporting. Have experience in managing IT systems and projects, and implementing data reporting to inform teams and leadership. Be highly organised and able to manage competing priorities and projects. Be adept at managing change and fostering continuous improvement in an IT environment.
