You’ll lead with heart and expertise, making sure our customers receive high-quality clinical care that’s grounded in evidence and delivered with dignity. Here’s what your days might look like: Supporting your team with daily clinical guidance and mentoring Triaging and allocating clinical requests Supervising incident reports and contributing to risk management activities Leading clinical supervision, audits, and training to keep standards high and care consistent Managing a clinical caseload (around 40% of your time) to stay connected to frontline care Collaborating across departments to strengthen care coordination and customer outcomes Driving quality improvement and contributing to new initiatives Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Championing a workplace culture that’s respectful, inclusive, and aligned with Suncare’s values You’ll thrive in this role if you Are someone who leads with care and clarity. You’ll also: Bring extensive experience in Community Aged Care and a deep understanding of clinical best practice Have proven leadership experience, with clinical insight and emotional intelligence to guide teams through complex care decisions Know how to manage your time well, balancing hands‑on care with responding to clinical requests for guidance and input Feel confident navigating the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards and managing incidents Spot opportunities for improvement and take action to make things better Build trust and connection across teams and with customers, while sharing your clinical knowledge to support learning and development for both clinical and non‑clinical staff Hold relevant nursing qualifications and current AHPRA registration, with a commitment to ongoing professional development Have a valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle for work Hold current First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check (or be willing to obtain them) Belonging Starts Here We believe real care starts with real belonging.
