About the Role As the Senior Finance Business Partner at Redpath, you will lead internal and external reporting efforts, ensuring alignment with financial plans and strategic goals. You will oversee budget processes, analyze performance metrics, and provide valuable insights to drive decision‑making and process improvements. Collaborating with operational management and key stakeholders, you will guide strategic initiatives, enhance business analysis capabilities, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities Provide modelling and cost‑benefit analysis to determine appropriate business strategies. Analyse current operating performance, identifying trends and offering proactive advice to managers. Identify efficiencies and cost savings within Redpath. Establish strong relationships with site managers, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations. Assist with the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts when necessary. Support the monitoring of capital expenditure within budgets and Redpath policies. Identify improvements in financial processes and systems and participate in scoping, planning, and implementation. Lead internal and external reporting efforts, ensuring alignment with financial plans and strategic goals. Oversee end‑to‑end budget processes for the Operations and Corporate divisions, engaging stakeholders at all levels. Analyse performance metrics and provide insights to drive decision‑making and process improvements. Collaborate with Operations Managers and key stakeholders to guide strategic initiatives. Enhance business analysis capabilities and lead continuous improvement efforts. Ensure compliance with reporting standards and lead annual budget and re‑forecast processes. Qualifications CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified. Experience with Oracle, JDE Edwards, Pronto (or similar) and various reporting tools. Experience creating dashboards in Power BI is advantageous. Solid accounting skills and experience managing budgets, costs and resource requirements. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting and business partnering, preferably within the mining industry. Proficiency in financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial modelling. Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail. Strategic thinking with the ability to translate objectives into actionable plans. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders. Leadership experience, driving cross‑functional teams and inspiring team members. Strong problem‑solving skills, able to identify issues, analyse root causes, and develop practical solutions.
