Coordinate DonateLife Victoria’s statewide Volunteer and Community Engagement program to promote organ and tissue donation awareness Fixed‑term full‑time position until June 2026 (highly likely the role will be ongoing) – Melbourne location Salary circa $90k + Superannuation + Salary Packaging This is your opportunity to find a life‑giving purpose DonateLife Victoria (DLV), under the direction of the Australian Organ and Tissue Authority, works to maximise access for Australians to organ and tissue donation and transplantation through the implementation of national strategies and best practices. DLV works directly with 20 Victorian hospitals to ensure Victorians can fulfill their wishes to donate and that organ donation is an integral part of quality end‑of‑life care in Victoria. DLV is affiliated with the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood (Lifeblood). DonateLife Victoria has an inspiring opportunity for you. DonateLife Victoria (DLV) facilitates organ and tissue donation in any health service within Victoria (including Albury NSW). Responsibilities The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating DonateLife Victoria’s statewide Volunteer and Community Engagement program, driving initiatives that promote organ and tissue donation awareness and encourage donor registration through impactful community‑based activities. This involves researching, developing and coordinating community‑based activities, providing opportunities for volunteers, providing speakers for internal and external events, event support, managing merchandise, and coordinating data. The role will support the DonateLife Victoria Marketing and Communications team and the national DonateLife Communications team. Qualifications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders. Community engagement experience, preferably in the healthcare or not‑for‑profit sector. Highly organised and motivated and able to work well within a team environment. Project management skills with demonstrated outcomes. Experience with managing or working within a volunteer program would be highly regarded. Next Steps Excited about this opportunity?
