Events and Community Engagement Coordinator Join Our Community Events and Community Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time, Term Time Only) Are you passionate about building vibrant community connections? Do you have a knack for planning and executing memorable events, from small weekly traditions to large annual celebrations? We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised, and community-minded Events and Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Communications and Marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in strengthening the connection between the College, its families, and our vital Parents' Association (PA). This part-time (0.60 FTE), term-time only role would particularly suit an engaged parent or active member of the College community seeking a flexible yet impactful position. Key Responsibilities Events Management: Lead the end-to-end planning, promotion, and execution of a diverse calendar of events for the PA and the wider College (ELC, Primary, and Secondary). PA Liaison: Act as the primary administrative and logistical support for the Parents' Association, ensuring their activities run smoothly. Administration: Manage ticketing (TryBooking), RSVPs, strict budget adherence, supplier engagement, and content creation (Canva) while maintaining brand guidelines. Community Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for parent communication channels, including managing relevant parent WhatsApp groups. Content Capture: Be present at events to assist with on-the-day coordination and actively capture engaging photo/video content for College marketing. Marcomms Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the Marcomms team, including proofreading and content creation support. What You'll Bring Proven success in developing and executing events of varying scales. Exceptional organisational skills and an eagle-eye for attention to detail. Outstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents. High proficiency in the Google Suite. Experience with TryBooking and design tools like Canva is highly desirable. A proactive, highly flexible approach to work, understanding that events sometimes require hours outside of the usual term-time schedule.
