Meet some of our people and learn more about the Commission and our Regulatory Strategy on our website About the Team The Engagement and Events team advises and supports business areas across the Commission on a range of stakeholder engagement activities and outcomes. We coordinate consultation activities to inform Commission service design, product development and continuous improvement. The team oversees the Consumers and Families panel and the Providers and Worker panel and coordinates the Commission’s participation in key sector events and meetings. We also identify and support opportunities for external engagement, including event booths and executive presentations, to strengthen relationships across the aged care sector. About the Role This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Engagement and Events team in the planning and coordination of engagement initiatives across the aged care sector. You will assist with the logistical, administrative and coordination aspects of work involving the Consumers and Families panel and the Provider and Workers panel. Your work will support business teams to deliver and facilitate meaningful engagement with panel members. You will also provide high-level administrative support to assist with managing the Commission’s participation in sector events. With an agile and collaborative approach, you’ll be curious to understand what is happening across the aged care sector and contribute to the Commission’s vision to protect and improve the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life for people receiving aged care services. Position Duties Support coordination of engagement activities with the Consumers and Families panel and Provider and Workers panel. This includes scheduling activities, maintaining records, analysis and communicating with panel members. Event management support including creating event briefs, managing the Commission’s event kits, organising travel and assisting with seeking suitable representatives to attend events. Administrative duties including managing team group inboxes and tracking requests to help resolve issues or escalate where needed. Analysis of attendance, themes and feedback from engagement activities and use this intelligence to feed into Stakeholder Engagement work plans. Support development of workflow and process documentation to streamline the way we manage engagement and event attendance requests. Apply a continuous improvement lens to all engagement activities. Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria) To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following: Experience providing high quality administrative support. Excellent organisational skills and the demonstrated ability to self-manage multiple competing priorities whilst working to tight deadlines. Strong relationship management skills and the ability to positively engage with stakeholders, especially through virtual relationships. Knowledge of government processes and procedures, including stakeholder engagement functions. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a virtual team environment to achieve high quality outcomes. Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate information coherently and concisely. Strong data literacy and reporting skills, including high level Microsoft word and excel skills. Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for continuous improvement. Understanding of the Australian aged care system. Understanding of best practice stakeholder engagement. Position Notes Salary offered will be between $86,204 - $93,226 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.
