Job Description We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Community Engagement and Events Manager to lead the planning, management and continuous improvement of school events and community engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in strengthening relationships within our school community, enhancing our reputation and supporting enrolment growth. Desired Skills and Experience Key accountabilities Events Leadership and Management Lead the planning, co-ordination and delivery of school and community events that strengthen engagement and support enrolment growth. Ensure all events comply with school procedures, policies and safety, risk and licensing requirements. Manage event budgets, schedules, staff, volunteers and gap staff to ensure high-quality outcomes. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers, alumni, associations and community partners. Support the Parents’ Association and Old Boys’ Association through events, communications and engagement initiatives. Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies, including promotional materials, newsletters and social media. Manage community and alumni databases and maintain an accurate events calendar and shared resources. Oversee community engagement budgets and report on performance and outcomes. Ensure compliance with child safeguarding and Work Health and Safety standards. Provide leadership within the Community Relations team and model the school’s values of humility, kindness, courage and respect. Selection Criteria Questions What qualities do you possess that would make you an outstanding Community Engagement and Events Manager? Providing an example, demonstrate how you have planned and executed a large community event and/or engagement program which exceeded expectations and met organisational goals, including preparing and implementing communication plans across a broad range of platforms to engage audiences and meet objectives.
