PA to the Head of Teaching and Learning (Secondary) About the College Coomera Anglican College is a leading Gold Coast school, developing young minds in a nurturing, supportive and future-focused learning environment from Early Learning and Preparatory through to Year 12. We are seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised PA to the Head of Teaching and Learning (Secondary) to provide exceptional administrative support while also managing the operational demands of Secondary School timetabling. Advanced experience in Edval and TASS – particularly in creating, managing and maintaining school timetables – is essential. This position is a term-time role, working five days per week, with some additional work required during school holidays in preparation for semester commencement. Part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the Secondary academic timetable with accuracy, efficiency, and forward planning. Manage student subject changes and communicate updates to relevant staff and stakeholders. Allocate teaching duties, room assignments and duty rosters, ensuring equitable distribution and compliance with break requirements. Assist with annual timetable setup, including subject offerings, staff allocations and scheduling frameworks. Process new student enrolments and integrate them into Edval/TASS systems. Assist with Edval development projects to enhance timetable processes and systems. Provide high-level executive support to the Head of Teaching and Learning – Secondary, including diary management, correspondence, and meeting coordination. Draft, proof and format letters, communications, reports and documentation as required. Assist with planning, logistics and coordination of academic events, meetings and professional learning activities. Support other College administrative functions—including Student Services—when needed. Assist with coordinating school events, presentations, academic programs and leadership initiatives. Provide administrative support to Heads of Year and teachers for student programs, awards, excursions and academic processes. Coordinate subject selection processes and ensure clear, timely communication with students and families. About You You will have: Essential experience using Edval and TASS to create and manage school timetables. Proven capability in providing PA/executive support in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. The ability to build effective working relationships across the College community.
