As the Marketing Manager at Gallivanter Travel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and driving our marketing strategy. This role oversees all marketing and event activities across Gallivanter Travel’s expanding store network, ensuring brand consistency, strong supplier relationships, and engaging client communications. You’ll spearhead innovative, high-impact marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels to promote Gallivanter Travels unique travel experiences. What you’ll be doing Marketing Coordination: Plan and manage all marketing activity across digital, print, and in‑store channels. Content & Campaigns: Create and send weekly EDMs, update the website with new deals, and plan weekly social media content. Supplier Collaboration: Manage monthly supplier marketing campaigns, proposals, and reporting. Advertising: Plan and design weekly print ads, negotiate media placements across newspaper, billboard, radio, and digital channels. Internal Communication: Prepare weekly internal EDMs summarising figures, campaigns, and store updates. Events: Plan and promote company events including info nights, VIP evenings, and the annual Travel Expo, from concept and supplier coordination to setup and community engagement. Collateral & Design: Create and maintain marketing materials for hosted journeys (flyers, forms, web pages) and ensure consistent branding across all stores. Administration: Manage business cards, name tags, gift vouchers, signage, and staff email signatures. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing & Events Coordinator to plan weekly content, campaigns, and visual design. What we’re looking for Experience: Proven experience in a marketing or brand management role, preferably within the travel or tourism industry. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into effective marketing plans. Creativity: Highly creative and innovative, with a passion for developing unique and memorable marketing campaigns. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing engaging content and visual materials. Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (social media, email marketing, CMS/web development). Graphic design experience essential. Events Management: Ability to coordinate and deliver marketing events with strong stakeholder engagement. Teamwork: A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Qualifications: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preference (or equivalent relevant experience).
