The Role We are currently seeking a talented Experienced Engineer – Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to work closely with our other specialists to deliver multi‑disciplined engineering solutions across large‑scale transport projects. The role sits within our Transport division and will help deliver Intelligent Transport Systems across ANZ. The position is ideally based in our Gold Coast office but may be located with our Transport teams in Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. Responsibilities Ensure that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC. Collaborate with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co‑ordination of project deliverables. Contribute to the commercial success of projects and the team. Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ commercial experience delivering in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Project experience delivering on complex Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Experience in the co‑ordination, design, and delivery of Intelligent Transport System projects within multi‑disciplinary engineering projects. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to undertake some travel (domestic or international).
