Due to growth and multiple new ongoing contracts signed for 5 plus years our National Fire Systems Contracting client is seeking 2 x new Cert 3 Dry Fire Technicians to join their business in a 1 week on night shift per month and the rest of the working hours are day shift rotation fixed site in Brisbane. Hours are Monday to Thursday 9pm to 4am stand down Friday fully paid per month . 1 x RDO per month , The night shift sites are located in Brisbane CBD day shift sites are Inner West and out to Gatton. Job Summary Willing and capable to carryout diagnosis, fault finding and breakdown repairs on dry fire systems multiple alarm systems programming servicing and maintenance. Permanent roles Must have QBCC Licence Cert 3 Fire finalising or already completed. Must pass a D & A workplace medical The ability to work un-supervised and self-manage stock and equipment necessary to carry out his or her duties. A good understanding and working of Australian Standards (AS1670 and AS1851) Carry out diagnosis, fault finding and breakdown repairs on dry fire systems. 5 or more years working with the fire industry in a similar role. Trade qualification as an A class Electrician or Cert 3 in Fire Protection a must. Have good presentation and work ethic. Fully maintained vehicle. Or allowance 12K + Fuel Card + Tolls. Must have strong written and verbal English skills. Heavy discountes on private health, insurances and tools, Uniforms, mobiles, ipads supplied. Must have local customer knowledge and geographical knowledge of South East Qld metro area. White card (OHS Induction) The Fire Technician will be working closely with clients on site and should enjoy interaction with clients. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications: We are seeking an experienced Dry Fire Testing Technician with the following qualifications: Backgrounds in electrical testing electronics and inspections and/or maintenance and installation of alarms Service and maintenance techs only June and July starts. You: Will be currently working in a business with an established market history, our client requires a person who is "field orientated". Reporting to the Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop further within the company This is a full-time role 40 hours a week with overtime adoc with an RDO monthly.
