This newly created role, which reports to the Academic Dean, will additionally be responsible for driving continuous improvement at a dynamic institute of higher education already recognised globally for the highest standards of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will therefore thrive on this rare challenge of further enhancing an already high-performing academic function. Our ideal candidate is an individual who understands the tactical mechanics of an independent non-university specialising in international education. They will further draw on their renowned talent for stakeholder influence and collaboration since this is a position without direct reports which therefore necessitates the combination of formidable interpersonal skills, a process-oriented mindset, and operational nous if ambitious strategic initiatives are to be implemented in full.Primary responsibilitiesManage the end-to-end implementation of academic projectsOversee the operationalisation and ongoing coordination of academic activitiesLead internal and external reviews, benchmarking and compliance obligationsCoordinate academic awards, scholarships and related programsServe as a key contact for the team of RPL assessors and escalated complaintsMain requirementsMaster’s degree in project management, operations management or similarTrack record of implementing and managing projects and process improvementsExpansive knowledge of quality assurance, risk mitigation and systems thinkingAppreciation for the needs of international students and their factors of successImpeccable attention to detail with an ability to cultivate this skill in othersKaplan Business SchoolAt Kaplan Business School, we are one of only ten self-accrediting institutes of higher education.
